Rain in Fujairah creates freak waterfall
Eastern parts of UAE saw heavy rain on Wednesday, with wet weather expected to continue

Dubai: A heavy downpour of rain fell across Fujairah on Wednesday
afternoon, and as the weather cools down, more rainfall is expected to
continue across other areas of the UAE in the coming days.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said that
convective clouds are expected to develop in the Islands and the
northern parts of the UAE by Wednesday night.
Residents living in Fujairah and Khorfakkan have posted up a number
of rain videos online, as they welcomed the change in weather.
According
to the NCMS, more clouds are expected to form on Thursday that will
approach some of the coastal areas between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, as well
as the areas between Ras Al Khaimah and Dubai.
However, the
weather forecaster said that residents living in the coastal areas are
more likely to witness further rainfall than people in the cities, as
strong winds and dusty conditions will persist until Friday.
